Let me help you and your family celebrate the life of your loved one through your stories and memories, sharing all that was special and unique about them and the way they lived their life.
How it works (for your wedding)
You get in touch with me and I get very excited and call you to arrange a time to meet so you can confirm that I am the right celebrant for you. (Pssst: Of course I am!)
Together we start the paperwork, including the Notice of Intended Marriage (or NOIM as it’s known) which must be lodged at least one month and no further out than 18 months before your wedding day.
We chat about your ideas and all the dreams you have for your wedding day and I help you to bring them to life. Depending on the package you choose, we have another meeting, you have fun with questionnaires, we try for a rehearsal, either in-person or by Zoom…
We work through your ceremony script, ensuring it’s just right. (Tip: There are no rules apart from the inclusion of approximately 100 words that must be said by your celebrant and heard by your two witnesses to ensure your wedding is legal)
Your wedding day arrives, you are sick with nerves. I arrive to the venue approximately one hour prior to your ceremony to set up my PA, attempt to calm your nerves and mingle with your guests. Instructions on throwing confetti are given. I marry you per the Marriage Act 1961. I pack up and go while you are being hugged, kissed and congratulated by your happy guests. I do not get in the way of your first kiss photo!
By the time the confetti is flying, you are 100% legally married!
I lodge your paperwork with the registry office of the state in which you were married and within about two weeks, you have received your official marriage certificate, which you make several copies of and have them certified before filing them away for future requirements.
Please note, this is a very condensed version of the true events of your wedding day and is simply to give you an idea of what to expect. Just know that all of it is fun and a little stressful but I am here to support you.
