“We had a wonderful wedding ceremony with Jen as our celebrant. She really took the time to get to know us and our story and wrote an exquisite tale that was the centrepiece of the wedding. It was written as if by an old friend.

Jen is both warm and professional and we felt very comfortable opening up to her and knew that she was across all the finer detail and logistics of the wedding process. Getting married is a big journey and there’s a lot to it that we didn’t appreciate ahead of time but Jen made it all run smoothly.

“For our wedding we didn’t want a big fancy affair – after all, it was the second go for both of us, and really, we just wanted an opportunity to get our two families and a few friends together in a relaxed no hassle atmosphere.

After a few initial emails and an online zoom meeting (because of COVID-19) we finally managed to meet with Jen. We immediately felt very comfortable in her company and chatted about our ideas and plans for our wedding. It all seemed so informal and everything seemed possible. It was still a few months out, and we thought we had plenty of time – but very quickly Jen came back with an outline for the ceremony and an outline of what we had to prepare. We couldn’t believe how well Jen had managed to pick up the vibe we wanted in the ceremony – relaxed, fun, a little bit quirky, and most importantly inclusive of all who had been invited – it was all there! She had nailed it! The rest was so easy – Jen took control of our guests, the grandchildren tossed a carpet of rose petals for our entry, the ceremony went without a hitch and we laughed, cried and were filled with joy.
