To the moon and back!

Yep, today I have launched my Life Lines storytelling project. I’m shooting for the moon and that way, if I don’t make it, at least I will fall among the stars. I don’t know where I first heard that saying but it really is such a positive one. I quite like ‘falling among the stars’; it happens fairly regularly and suits me fine!

So basically, Life Lines is my dream of writing people’s life stories. I’ve heard about something similar run by a couple of palliative care units and approached St Vincent’s in Brisbane about doing it there. I think they are working on getting the program together and then I hope to be their Number One volunteer! I keep reading about others doing it, like these palliative care volunteers in Canberra, so I really need to shake my tail and find a way for ME to do it too!

However, in the meantime, I thought there may be others wanting to do something like this and I could help with it. Of course, it’s not a unique idea but it’s one I am very passionate about. So, let’s see where it goes shall we?
